Today was an odd day here in the St. Louis area. Yep, that’s right it did NOT rain?!? What in the blue heck? We even saw the clouds part a bit and allow us to get a little sun time. I know for one I liked that and I bet good money the plants liked it too!
Besides that wonderful news, today was a good day for other reasons. Was able to reach out to a few people that have recently contacted Benhardt Construction about some projects they would like done. Have a few things set up for the coming days.
One being this evening. Going to meet with a lady that was referred to Benhardt Construction by a wonderful past client of mine. Really, I can’t say enough about this woman – she loves passing the word around about Benhardt Construction.
This evening’s meeting will be to take a look at a converting a large screened in porch in Florissant into a four seasons room, enclosed porch, sun room – whatever you would like to call it. Also, this homeowner in Florissant would like to see about having her bathroom remodeled by Benhardt Construction as well.
That’s on the agenda tonight. Earlier today I ran between a couple projects that are near their completion.
The first one today was basement bathroom project out in O Fallon, Missouri.
This project is really going to be a sight to see once it’s complete as it’s about as custom as one can get with a bathroom remodel.
I completed the major final drywall sanding today with my recently purchased, awesome Festool Orbital Sander. Hey, did I already mention how awesome this sander is? It is virtually dust free!
Another detail Benhardt Construction covers with their kitchen, bathroom and basement remodeling projects – we keep our remodeling projects clean! Thereby keeping the rest of your home clean as well!
Once I finished sanding I went around and applied a spot coat of mud in a few areas I wasn’t 100% happy with while I was sanding. Being meticulous as I am requires an extra step or trip to the project but it’s the only way I know how to remodel spaces in your home.
As I was getting ready to leave, the homeowner asked if I could help him put the limestone cap onto the top of his new brick mailbox. (His neighbor built it and did a dang good job too!) I helped him with that and then it was time head from O Fallon down towards Grants Farm in Affton Missouri to do a little punch list work on a kitchen remodel project that will be wrapping up next week.
The Affton kitchen remodel is going to be another good looking project here in a few days.
The homeowners can’t believe it is the same kitchen as we removed a wall to open up the kitchen along with really banging out a great layout for the cabinets that maximized their space AND budget.
They have a custom kitchen island granite counter top that would make a fudge maker jealous just in sheer size, let alone the beautiful stone they picked out.
Well, that was most of my day right there. Getting ready to sign off and head to that sun room in Florissant. How was your day today? Did you get to enjoy a little bit of that sun? Adios for now!
